where the sand meets the water
Named after the Delaware River, this state has dozens of opportunities to get out on the water. Rehoboth Beach is known for being a summer paradise and having exceptionally clean water. Although Delaware is the only state without a National Park Service destination, the state parks offer opportunities for fishing, hiking, boating and bird watching. Cape Henlopen State Park is a great place to soak in the views of a quintessential New England beach town.
