Montana has the most diverse wildlife population in the mainland United States. Bison, bighorn sheep, black bears and moose roam the mountains and prairies of Montana. Glacier National Park in the northern part of the state is over 1 million acres and gives visitors access to some of the best wildlife viewing opportunities in the state (and arguably in the whole country). The streams and rivers draw in thousands of paddlers each year looking to take in the sights that Big Sky Country has to offer.
